Job summary

We have locations in De Pere, Appleton, Oshkosh, and Fond du Lac. We are a family-owned company operating since 1986, and a Western Star Truck Dealer certified for Detroit, Cummins, Cat, and Allison services.

We are looking to fill Diesel Mechanic positions for 1st and 2nd shifts. 2nd shift employees are eligible for an annual $5,000 bonus.

Position Summary:

Repair and service the mechanical, electrical, and other components of a tractor using various tools and equipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Determine necessary repairs to meet customer expectations
  • Diagnose and repair truck breakdowns, engines, transmissions, driveline, and differentials
  • Complete all repair documentation accurately
  • Represent the company professionally and courteously
  • Use proper protective equipment and maintain a clean work environment
  • Stay current with technical literature and perform preventative maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy/medium truck repair
  • Organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to handle tools and manipulate parts
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Good vision and communication skills
