Join Our Team as a Diesel Mechanic / Technician at Quality Truck Care Center, Inc.

We are looking for skilled Diesel Mechanics / Technicians to join our team at Quality Truck Care Center, Inc., with locations in De Pere, Appleton, Oshkosh, and Fond du Lac. Since 1986, we have been a family-owned company and a certified Western Star Truck Dealer, servicing brands like Detroit, Cummins, Cat, and Allison, among others.

We are hiring for 1st and 2nd shifts. Employees on the 2nd shift are eligible for an annual $5,000 bonus.

Position Summary:

Responsible for repairing and servicing mechanical, electrical, and other components of trucks using various tools and testing equipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to meet customer expectations
  • Repair and rebuild engines, transmissions, drivelines, and differentials
  • Complete all repair documentation accurately
  • Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers and coworkers
  • Use proper safety equipment and keep work areas clean
  • Stay current with technical literature and perform preventative maintenance
  • Perform other assigned duties
Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy/medium-duty truck repair
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Valid Driver's License; CDL preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to handle tools and manipulate parts
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Good vision and verbal communication skills
