Benefits and Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $29.50 per hour
• Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE Certification, up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 every quarter
• Sign-On Bonus: $1,750 at 30 days and $1,750 at 90 days
• Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
• Hours: Second Shift - Tuesday to Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm; Saturday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive engines, including routine maintenance like oil changes, brake, and tire work
• At least 2 years of related classroom training and work experience preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred

This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. To become an employee, you must:

• Obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background checks

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Conduct vehicle and component inspections
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical/electronic issues using diagnostic tools
• Identify root causes and perform repairs
• Replace defective components
• Support facility maintenance
• Interact with customers/drivers to understand issues
• Use shop management systems and electronic documentation
• Comply with safety and regulatory guidelines
• Support operations as needed, including service island duties
