Location: Buffalo, NY (2370 Walden Ave, Buffalo NY 14225)
Position: Diesel Technician
Employment Status: Full-Time
FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $17–$45 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000 for Expert and Master Level Diesel Technicians!

Who We Are Looking For:

We’re hiring Diesel Technicians at all experience levels—from entry-level to seasoned professionals. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re an expert with years of experience, we want to talk to you! We offer positions across a variety of shifts: Day, Afternoon, and Evening Shifts are available.

Position Requirements (to be discussed at the interview):

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 1–3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company insurability standards

Position Preferences:

  • Vocational/Technical school training or equivalent experience
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications
  • Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification

Essential Duties:

  • Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance with minimal supervision.
  • Follow repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, meeting dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and complete repairs as directed.
  • Assist with major repairs when necessary.
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
  • Tag and save parts for warranty claims or as requested by the customer.
  • Inspect vehicles for additional service or safety concerns.
  • Communicate with the service advisor about any additional work needed or if repairs cannot be completed in the promised time.
  • Document all work performed and information required for warranty claims.
  • Work effectively within a team environment.
  • Road test vehicles when required, or refer to a test technician.
  • Keep up-to-date with manufacturer’s technical bulletins.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.
