Position Overview

We value safety! The Diesel Technician - Class B repairs, maintains, and overhauls fleet diesel equipment to ensure safe operations and compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet diesel equipment
• Ensure equipment licensing and registration are up to date
• Document work orders accurately
• Install and repair onboard computers
• Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings, etc.
• Conduct routine maintenance using hand and power tools
• Guide and train other mechanics
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. 3-5 years of medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience, including diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration.
