Benefits and Schedule

• Technician positions pay weekly
• Hourly pay: $34.00 per hour
• Certification bonus of $100 for each new ASE certification obtained, up to $700
• Quarterly bonus: up to $500 each quarter
• Sign-on bonus: $3,000 at 30 days and another $3,000 at 90 days
• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, Second shift: Tuesday - Friday 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm, Saturday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive engines, including preventive maintenance and diagnostics
• Four or more years of relevant work experience preferred
• Valid CDL Class A preferred
• Other certifications as required by location

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability for shift work, weekends, and on-call duties
• Prefer ASE certifications in various specialties

• Ability to road test vehicles
• Ability to coach and mentor others

Driving Requirements

This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. You must:

• Obtain CDL within 6 months
• Pass Ryder drug test and DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test and background check

Responsibilities

• Complete OEM and internal diagnostic courses
• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including complex repairs
• Use diagnostic tools and software effectively
• Assist roadside breakdowns and perform facility maintenance
• Interact with customers and drivers to determine issues
• Mentor other technicians and support shop management
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines
• Support other operational duties as needed
