Job summary

Northwest Hardwoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic II to diagnose, maintain, repair, and service diesel-powered equipment across our milling and manufacturing operations.

You will work with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and keep our fleet reliable. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of hands-on diesel experience, a safety-minded approach, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Diesel Mechanic experience.
• Able to perform strenuous, heavy work.
• Flexibility with work hours.
• Excellent problem-solving and hands-on skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and drivetrains.
• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues quickly.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Support safety and housekeeping in the shop.
