Zusammenfassung

CEMEX is seeking a Mechanic II in Houston, TX to diagnose and repair diesel tractors, trailers and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, and ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA safety standards.

Some regional travel may be required to service company equipment. Strong mechanical skills, a high school diploma, and 3 years of related experience are expected; bilingual Spanish a plus; CDL and forklift/TWIC credentials are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years related experience or training.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus; good communication in English required.
• CDL and forklift or ability to obtain within evaluation period are preferred.

Aufgaben

• Examines and diagnoses vehicle problems and performs repairs.
• Discusses extensive or difficult repairs with Terminal Manager or Supervisor.
• Adheres to CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA safety policies and regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance and PM checklist items.
• Plans all routine work procedures and repairs hydraulic and electrical systems.
