Job summary

CEMEX is seeking a Mechanic in Tampa, FL to diagnose and repair diesel tractors, trailers and other wheeled vehicles. The role requires adherence to safety policies and the ability to perform routine maintenance and component repairs.

The position may involve some regional travel and requires a high school diploma with at least 3 years of related experience or training. Language skills include bi-lingual Spanish a plus, with CDL/driver license considerations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent experience.
• 3 years related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel tractors, trailers and other wheeled vehicles.
• Examine, diagnose and repair vehicle problems per accepted methods.
• Follow safety policies (lockout/tagout, OSHA) and maintain equipment to standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair components including electrical systems.
