Job summary

The role requires ability to work with hand tools, own tools, valid CDL if driving, physical ability to lift 70 lbs, and willingness to work nights/weekends; prior experience or trade school preferred.

Qualifications

• Equivalent background to GED or high school diploma.
• Must be 17+ years old.
• At least 1 year of experience or completion of trade school.
• Must own hand tools and be able to use test equipment.
• Knowledge of heavy truck repairs and diesel engine systems.
• Able to read and interpret work orders and manuals.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• CDL is required if driving on public roads.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks and forklifts.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and prepare FMCSA compliant documents.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace defective parts and test equipment after service.
• Regular attendance and flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
