Job summary

Titan Machinery is seeking a Case Construction Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel machinery in shop and field settings. You will perform accurate diagnostics and repairs, document findings, and communicate timelines with the service team and customers.

We value detail-oriented, independent workers who can travel for offsite training, bring their own tools, and contribute to customer satisfaction while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program
• Willingness to travel to offsite training facilities, as needed
• Must have own tools
• Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality and efficient workmanship
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly and professionally with the Service Manager, service team, and customers while providing timely and courteous service
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities. Identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support department profitability
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments
