Davis Cartage Co. is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics for a full-time role in Corunna, Michigan. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet of diesel-powered trucks and equipment to keep operations safe and DOT-compliant.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of diesel mechanic or related mechanical experience preferred.
• Experience repairing commercial trucks and diesel engines.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems, drivetrain components, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trucks and diesel-powered equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
• Disassemble engines to identify worn parts and rebuild as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections per schedule.
• Ensure DOT regulations and safety standards are met.
