Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year recent diesel maintenance experience.
• Must have own hand tools.
• CDL license preferred.
• Good driving record & proven work history.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work in extreme heat & cold temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
• Repair, reline, replace & adjust brakes.
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors.
• Plan work procedures using charts, manuals & experience.
• Communicate with driver to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services.
• Repair manual & automatic transmissions.
• Replace & adjust headlights.
• Ensure cleanliness of shop & maintain safety/compliance.
