Zusammenfassung

Performance Foodservice seeks an experienced diesel fleet technician to diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. The role requires ensuring compliance with trucking regulations and meticulous work-order documentation.

You will perform road calls as needed, inspect critical systems, and train team members while contributing to a safe, efficient fleet operation. Positive results support nationwide food distribution services.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 5–7 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PMs, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and A/C refrigeration.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, converter dolly and maintenance vehicles with minimal supervision.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal trucking regulations.
• Document and close out work orders for repairs and maintenance daily.
• Perform road call services as needed.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings and other critical components for proper operation.
