Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a skilled diesel technician to diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and related equipment. You will document each repair in our online system and perform road call services as needed.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, inspecting brakes and steering, ensuring licensing, and training other staff. Competitive pay with full benefits starts Day 1, and a 4-day work week offers strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, converter dolly and maintenance vehicles.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and related parts.
• Ensure roadworthiness licensing/registration before use and document work orders daily.
• Complete preventative maintenance and identify root causes of failures.
• Perform road call services as needed and train other employees.
