Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a skilled diesel fleet technician to diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment. You will ensure regulatory compliance and maintain detailed work orders, with potential road call assignments.

The role requires 5–7 years of repair experience, knowledge of diagnostic equipment, and a commitment to safety. Benefits begin day 1, with a 4-day work week and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
• Experience with PMs, tires, air systems, and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment and diagnose basic issues.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings, and related components for roadworthiness.
• Maintain thorough documentation of repairs and maintenance in the system.
• Perform road call services as needed.
• Train other employees and assist with related duties.
