Performance Foodservice is hiring an experienced diesel truck technician to diagnose and repair medium to heavy‑duty fleet vehicles, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units, with road call duties as needed.

You will document all repairs in the Enterprise Asset Management system, perform preventive maintenance, and mentor teammates while ensuring compliance with state and federal trucking regulations.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including PMs and electrical troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in A/C refrigeration.

Mansioni

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet diesel equipment and inspect components.
• Diagnose and repair tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related systems.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings; replace worn parts as needed.
• Ensure roadworthiness licensing/registration prior to use.
• Document repairs and PMs in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Install/repair onboard computers.
• Use hand and power tools to perform repairs.
• Perform road call services as needed.
• Train other employees.
• Performs other related duties.
