Job description

Come join our Reyes Fleet team at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Highland Park, MI, soon to relocate to a new site in New Hudson, MI. We are seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic B for our growing fleet shop, which distributes these iconic brands.

Shift:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Pay:

$31.70 per hour to start

Position Responsibilities:

1. The Fleet Technician focuses on preventative maintenance of fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed.
2. Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance.
3. Inspect brake systems to ensure proper operating condition and verify equipment has required licensing and registration.
4. Use hand tools and power tools, such as screwdrivers, and perform routine maintenance, including changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
5. Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles.
• Own tools meeting minimum requirement.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Technical School Certification.
