Reyes Family of Businesses in Milwaukee, WI is hiring a Fleet Diesel Mechanic A to repair and maintain trailer/tractor equipment at the Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility. The role involves diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and using diagnostic software in a full-time daytime shift.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience and own tools. CDL A is preferred; there are incentives and advancement opportunities within the Reyes fleet management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools and operate company vehicles with valid CDL A preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR for DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders and maintenance in the EAM system.
• Diagnose mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic tools and software.
• Perform complex inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management safety standards and use PPE correctly.
• Occasional travel and potential driving of Reyes fleet and customer vehicles.

Reyes Fleet Management is hiring immediately at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Milwaukee, WI. Seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic Ato help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment.

Shift:Full-TimelMonday-Friday 10:00AM-6:30PMPay: $36.50/HR

CDL Incentive Pay (Additional $1.00/per hourwith active CDL A license)-Preferred but not required

Position Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts)
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable
• Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal polices and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices
• This position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The Driver Qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review
• Some travel may be required
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 3 plus years of related experience
• Must possess own tools
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
• Valid CDL (License A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locations
• Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds
