Job summary

Martin Transportation Systems is seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our growing team in Dayton, OH. This full-time, 3rd shift position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package with opportunities for growth.

You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 trucks and trailers, service Freightliner tractors, and complete trailer repairs. A safe, clean shop environment and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of mechanic experience.
• At least 1 year of diesel mechanic experience.
• Experience using Class 8 diagnostic tools.
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on our modern fleet of Freightliner tractors.
• Service and maintain our fleet of trailers.
• Complete trailer repairs, welding, and general shop work.
• Utilize Class 8 diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Complete light computer work for repair documentation.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient shop environment.
