Job summary

Martin Transportation Systems is seeking a Mobile Truck Mechanic for our St. Louis location. The role offers a brand-new service truck and shifts in the 1st or 2nd tier, with pay up to $45.00/hour based on experience.

We require 1 year of mechanic experience and 1 year as a diesel mechanic, with hands-on work on Volvo and Freightliner tractors and trailers. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience using Class 8 Diagnostic Tools.
• Some experience as a Diesel Mechanic repairing trucks and/or trailers.
• Diagnose, repair and perform general maintenance.
• General maintenance on Volvo and Freightliner tractors.
• General maintenance on trailers.
• Trailer repairs, services, and welding.
• Light computer work required.
• Must have your own basic tools.
• Willing to work outside in the elements at our various lots.
• Pay based on experience.
• Willing to train the right person.

Up to $45.00/hour, based on experience.

Required Experience

• Mechanic: 1 year

The Right Diesel Mechanic Will Have The Following

• Experience using Class 8 Diagnostic Tools
• Some experience as a Diesel Mechanic repairing trucks and/or trailers

• Be able to perform general maintenance on our recent model fleet of Volvo and Freightliner Tractors
• Be able to perform general maintenance on our recent model fleet of trailers
