Job Details

Location: South Yarmouth, MA

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week with overtime opportunity

Pay Range: $24.00/hr - $32.00/hr, based on experience

Role Responsibilities

1. Perform thorough preventative maintenance inspections.
2. Complete scheduled maintenance tasks such as lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations.
3. Conduct unscheduled repairs under supervision.
4. Perform complex repairs including engine, electrical, fuel, brake, and exhaust systems, interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
5. Provide roadside emergency services as needed.
6. Inspect equipment, diagnose defects, and document repairs accurately.
7. Maintain tools and work areas in an organized manner.
8. Be flexible for on-call, extended hours, or weekend work during emergencies.
9. Occasionally drive vehicles for road tests or other duties.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or mechanic preferred.
• Accreditation or certification from a recognized program preferred.
• Completion of required training and passing pre-employment background checks.
