Position Description

We are seeking a Senior Diesel Technician to work on heavy-duty vehicles. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, weekends off. Pay: $28/hour plus certification bonuses, quarterly bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• At least 2 years of experience with heavy-duty vehicle repairs
• Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months if not already licensed
• Must pass Ryder’s drug test, physical, road test, and background check
• Knowledge of diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of automotive engines

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including diagnostics and component replacements
• Handle facility maintenance and customer interactions
• Utilize maintenance documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Mentor junior technicians and support operational needs
