Job Description: Diesel Mechanic

LAUNCH TransTechs is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance tasks (brakes, tires, oil changes, etc.) on trucks and trailers in Nazareth, PA.

Shift: 3rd Shift, Monday - Friday; 2nd Shift, Tuesday - Saturday

Pay: $27 - $34 per hour, depending on experience

Job Duties and Requirements:

• Follow workplace and vehicle safety procedures consistently.
• Perform proper Preventive Maintenance such as lube, filters, inspections, including truck appearance, interior and exterior, cab safety, and security.
• Perform basic electrical repairs and replace starters, alternators, and batteries.
• Perform tire tread, inflation, rotation, wear, and reconditioning of wheels.
• Inspect & replace basic engine components, transmission, clutch (R&R), and driveline components.
• Remove and replace steering & chassis components.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of mechanic experience.
• Own tools required.
• Own steel toe boots.
• Valid driver's license.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
