Hours: 7am-4pm

Wages: $24-26 based on experience

1. Customer service: Consulting with customers, explaining the repair process, and explaining defects to vehicle owners
2. Work planning: Reading work orders, using technical manuals and charts to plan work procedures
3. Vehicle inspection: Inspecting vehicles, including the engine, transmission, steering mechanism, brake system, and lighting system
4. Diagnostic testing: Reading and interpreting diagnostic test results to identify mechanical problems
5. Repairs: Repairing or replacing malfunctioning parts, including mechanical or electrical equipment
6. Maintenance: Performing basic maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
7. Test driving: Test-driving vehicles to ensure they run smoothly
8. Record keeping: Keeping detailed records of all vehicles serviced
9. Inventory: Keeping track of inventory
10. Workplace cleanliness: Maintaining the cleanliness of the workplace
