FleetPride, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician III at our Louisville location to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on medium- and heavy-duty equipment.

This senior role emphasizes advanced diagnostics, major component repairs, and mentoring of junior technicians in a daytime shift. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no night or weekend shifts, top-of-market pay, and monthly bonuses.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of diesel technician experience (MD/HD preferred).
• Proven ability to perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs with minimal supervision.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues independently.
• Support medium- and heavy-duty equipment in a high-volume shop.
• Mentor junior technicians and share technical knowledge.

About the Role:

FleetPride is seeking a Diesel Technician III — a senior-level technician with the experience and confidence to diagnose, repair, and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues independently. This role supports medium- and heavy-duty equipment, including tractors, trailers, and box trucks, in a high-volume shop environment.

As a Level III technician, you’ll be trusted with advanced diagnostics, major component repairs, and mentoring of junior technicians — without being tied to nights or weekends.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of diesel technician experience (MD/HD preferred).
• Proven ability to perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs with minimal supervision.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other technicians.
• Strong communication with service managers, writers, and customers.
• Ability to provide your own tools and toolbox.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• CDL A or B preferred (not required).
