FleetPride in Louisville, KY is hiring a senior Diesel Technician III to diagnose, repair, and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues on medium- and heavy-duty equipment such as tractors, trailers, and box trucks. You’ll work in a high-volume shop with daytime hours, mentoring junior techs, and taking ownership of advanced diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of diesel technician experience (MD/HD preferred).
• Proven ability to perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs with minimal supervision.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other technicians.
• Strong communication with service managers, writers, and customers.
• Ability to provide your own tools and toolbox.
• CDL A or B preferred (not required).
• Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and highly efficient work ethic.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

FleetPride is seeking a Diesel Technician III — a senior-level technician with the experience and confidence to diagnose, repair, and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues independently. This role supports medium- and heavy-duty equipment, including tractors, trailers, and box trucks, in a high-volume shop environment.

As a Level III technician, you’ll be trusted with advanced diagnostics, major component repairs, and mentoring of junior technicians — without being tied to nights or weekends.
