Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking for a new opportunity to showcase your talent and expertise? Capitol Tower & Communications, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Waverly, NE. As a Diesel Mechanic with us, you will work on a variety of diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, generators, and heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines and their components.
• Conduct inspections of diesel-powered equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
• Perform in-depth mechanical repairs, focusing on Ford Power Stroke light-duty trucks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience with diagnostic tools for diesel engines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Own tools and equipment required for the position.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly wage depending on experience ($24-$28 starting).
• Reviews and raises at 45, 90, 180, and 365 days.
