Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a diesel truck technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain company-owned or leased heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.

The role offers a starting pay of $27-$37 per hour with a 1pm-12am shift, $2 shift differential, and OT after 40 hours. Benefits include 15 days PTO, continued education, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, and retirement benefits after 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Starting Pay: $27-$37 (Top Pay Will Increase Based on EXP/Qualifications)

Starting Shift: 1pm-12am M-F. $2 Shift Differential. Start earlier and get out earlier on Fridays. OT after 40hrs worked.
