Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a diesel truck maintenance technician in Wisconsin to safely operate, repair, and maintain company trucks and equipment. The role requires diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring equipment is ready for daily operation.

Starting pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour with potential for higher pay based on experience, certifications, and skill level. Shift is 2pm-12am, with overtime after 40 hours and benefits eligibility after 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Job description

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely

Starting Pay: $25-$35/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.
