Job summary

Red Classic is hiring a Diesel Maintenance Technician (B) to repair and maintain diesel-powered equipment, trailers, and material handling systems. The role requires independent work with supervision and mentoring support for junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• DOT Brake Inspection certification.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical diagnostic and repair of customer vehicles and equipment.
• Repair drive chains and automatic brake systems.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and report discrepancies.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Work in the maintenance software system to record data and ensure DOT compliance.
• Mentor Vehicle Technicians C as needed.
