Shift Schedule and Pay
- 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm
- Pay starting at: $28.50–$31.00, depending on skillset and experience
- Additional $1.50 shift differential pay
Pay Range: $28.50–$31.00 per hour

Diesel Maintenance Technician (B)
Job Overview
Vehicle Technician B will repair and maintain all types of customer vehicles and equipment, including material handling, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment; perform job duties independently with limited supervision; provide mentoring and assistance to Vehicle Technician C's as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform some electrical, mechanical diagnostic, and repair of customer vehicles and equipment, including material handling, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment.
- Perform various forms of equipment repair including drive chain components, automatic brake systems, etc. through an intermediate level of experience and system knowledge.
- Maintain accurate parts inventory, research, resolve all discovered inventory discrepancies and notify maintenance management when a resolution is not available.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and warehouse.
- Perform other tasks as determined and requested by management.
- Work in the Maintenance software system to record data, ensure DOT compliance, and ensure follow-up of return orders.
- Serve as a mentor for Vehicle Technicians C, as needed; may perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic welding and cutting torch operation skills.
- Basic electrical, mechanical diagnostics, and repair skills.
- Understanding of tire inflation systems.
- Knowledge and ability to mount and dismount tires.
- Basic diagnostic tool skills.
- Ability to schedule and prioritize daily tasks.
- Must adhere to company uniform and appearance standards.
- Professional and appropriate interaction with internal and external customers.
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions on tools, equipment, machinery and/or materials used to power, hand, diagnostic tools operate material handling equipment.
- Must be capable of driving company equipment including class 8 tractors, working conditions.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be able to vary the start and end times, possibly including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer skills.
- Each technician needs to provide their own tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge acquired through 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
- D.O.T. Brake Inspection certification.
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate.
