Job summary

Red Classic is seeking a Diesel Maintenance Technician (B) to repair and maintain diesel-powered equipment and customer vehicles, including trailers and material handling gear. You will work with limited supervision and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Compensation is hourly with weekly pay and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company matching. The role may require a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• DOT Brake Inspection certification.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics and repairs on vehicles.
• Repair drive chains, braking systems, and related components.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Keep work area and warehouse clean and safe.
• Use maintenance software to record data and ensure DOT compliance.
• Mentor Vehicle Technicians C as needed.
