Transdev North America in Capitol Heights, MD, seeks a Light Duty Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines across our diverse vehicle fleet. You will help ensure safety, efficiency, and fleet longevity through hands-on maintenance and careful documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred) or equivalent education and experience.
• Adhere to state DOT vehicle inspections and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform limited mechanical repairs under moderate supervision on components such as bulbs, fuses, belts, hoses, and fluids.
• Repair brakes, tune-ups, suspensions, transmissions, and drive trains under supervision.
• Maintain and document maintenance records and work orders; order parts as needed.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and safety inspections; participate in road calls as necessary.
• Adhere to Transdev standards, policies and procedures; ensure vehicle safety for customers.
