Job summary

Transdev North America seeks an Automotive Technician in Rockville, MD to diagnose, repair, and maintain gas engines across diverse vehicles. You will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and safety inspections to ensure reliability and safety of diesel-powered assets.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as an automotive mechanic.
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided.
• Subject to a DOT physical exam and DOT drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose gas engine issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient repairs.
• Complete PMs and safety inspections.
• Lead diagnostic tests and plan thorough repair strategies.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and overhauls as needed.
• Mentor junior technicians.
