Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with classroom and lab exercises, monitoring safety, proctoring quizzes, supervising tools and equipment, maintaining clean labs, and communicating policy details to students and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of related paid work in Diesel.
• OR Associates Degree/Certificate in Diesel field.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in laboratory and classroom exercises as directed by the Instructor.
• Monitor laboratory activities for safety infractions and report all infractions to the Diesel Instructor.
• Proctor students during quizzes and examinations as directed by the Instructor.
• Supervise issuing and return of all supplies, tools, and equipment used in laboratory exercises.
• Supervise clean-up activities of equipment, tools, and facilities. Report any broken or un-serviceable equipment, tools, or instruments to the Diesel Instructor.
• Assist in keeping the Diesel labs clean and maintain training equipment used in the Diesel program.
