Qualifications

• Master's degree and/or licensure as required by the subject and campus.
• Advanced coursework or credentials in the content area may be required.
• If not currently licensed, instructor training or demonstration of qualifications is needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructional content via classroom and lab; assess and support student learning.
• Ensure instructional materials and equipment are ready, adequate, and functional.
• Participate in faculty assessment, professional development, and maintain required certification/licensure.
• Attend meetings, analyze assessment data, and meet academic/administrative deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, accrediting bodies? guidelines and internal policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Master?s degree in content area

Bachelor's degree or higher in related field

18 semester hours of graduate coursework in subject

8 years of practical work experience may substitute

Prior teaching experience or instructor training

Active teaching license or certification where required
