Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems is seeking a Journeyman Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair heavy vehicles and industrial equipment. The role involves interpreting work orders, assessing repair needs and performing adjustments to critical systems.

Shift is 5:00am to 2:30pm with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. You will work with safety standards, complete maintenance tasks, and ensure reliable operation of fleet and equipment.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs and overhauls heavy vehicles and industrial equipment.
• Interprets work orders and technical manuals.
• Keeps equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained.
• Diagnoses faults or malfunctions.
• Adjusts equipment and repairs or replaces defective parts, components or systems.
