Job summary

GFL is seeking a skilled diesel truck technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain company-owned or leased heavy-duty trucks and equipment. A $5K sign-on bonus is paid in two installments, with $2,500 after 30 days and $2,500 after 90 days.

Starting pay ranges from $26 to $40 per hour, with potential increases based on experience and certifications. Shift is 12pm-10pm, M-F, with OT after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel refuse trucks.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Proficient in brake, suspension, PTO systems maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and diagnose issues on diesel refuse trucks.
• Repair hydraulic, electrical, brakes, suspension, and PTO systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to keep trucks operating safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure fleet readiness.
