Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Shop Technician (Power) to join our team in Nashville. The role focuses on operating in an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace while loading/unloading equipment, performing basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs to avoid downtime.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience with Power/HVAC/Compressor equipment and a basic understanding of diesel systems, electronics and hydraulics.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience and/or familiarity with repairing and maintaining Power/HVAC/Compressor equipment and accessories
• Basic knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater, HVAC, and Diesel driven Pumps; possesses a basic understanding of diesel equipment, electronics and hydraulics

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment and performs basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs to minimize downtime
• The Power Technician 1 works with an entrepreneurial, empowering team and follows safety procedures while maintaining equipment reliability
