Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered equipment across a variety of makes and models. You will contribute to uptime by diagnosing issues, replacing worn parts, and following safety guidelines in a fast-paced shop or field environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel equipment, and knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and document work as required.
