Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Pump & Power Technician 3 to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex pump and power equipment. You will work on-site, lead others when needed, and apply your extensive knowledge of diesel engines, generators, and HVAC-related systems.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years repairing Pump & Power gear, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to read schematics and perform modifications. The role supports a busy shop environment with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
• EPA section 608 universal Certification required.
• Advanced understanding of refrigeration (EPA Certified).
• Electrical engines and controllers knowledge.
• Understanding of diesel equipment, generators and air compressors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems.
• Performs advanced/complex repair on all types of equipment.
• May lead and train other team members in repairing equipment.
• Reads and interprets electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics; drafts modifications as needed.
