Job summary

Power Plus is seeking a Generator Rental Technician to perform service and maintenance on rental generators. The role may involve shop work and occasional site visits, with professional customer interaction and thorough inspection paperwork.

The ideal candidate has mechanical and electrical aptitude, diesel generator experience, and relevant technical schooling. Expect a hands-on, team-oriented environment emphasizing safety and reliability.

Qualifications

Must possess mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Diesel generator experience is a plus.
Technical schooling in automotive or transportation fields is a plus.
Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical theory and application.

Responsibilities

Fuel, operate and maintain generators.
Assist in the installation of rental generators at various sites, including telecom facilities, existing structures, and construction trailers.
Order parts for repairs as needed.
Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of generator systems, including oil and coolant services, servicing and priming fuel system.
