We live that statement every single day. We are looking for a Critical Power Technician to help support that mission.
We service all brands of emergency standby generators, as well as automatic transfer switches, switchgear, and other related accessories. The normal working shift is 7AM to 4PM. However, there may be occasions when field work is required and this may necessitate extended hours.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have some degree of prior experience with generator sets, diesel & gaseous engines and industrial / commercial electrical distribution. However, more importantly, we are looking for technicians who want to grow their skills.
This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels. This list is not meant to cover every possible scenario but simply provide an outline. Employees may be assigned other tasks as needed.
