Job summary

Power Plus in Dallas area seeks a Generator Shop Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain portable generators. The role may involve field service repairs, refueling, delivering and picking up generators, and providing technical support. You will work with the operations managers, order parts, and may travel. Must have extensive knowledge of diesel engines and be able to read wiring diagrams; forklift operation and driving a company vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive knowledge of diesel engines.
• Generator experience a plus.
• Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Working knowledge of generator engines and brands a plus.
• Able to operate a forklift.
• Must be able to drive company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and make repairs to generator fleet.
• Coordinate with operations managers to prioritize repairs.
• Order parts for repairs.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and assist field operations.
• On-call rotation to support field needs.
