Job summary

Sysco North Dakota, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Technician to maintain and repair a varied fleet, ensuring safe operation and reduced downtime. The role includes preventive maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics for engines, transmissions, electrical and refrigeration systems.

You will work Sunday–Tuesday with either day or night shifts. Trainees receive OEM, Thermo King and EPA training, with uniforms and allowances provided. This full-time position offers stability with a growing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Driver's license is required or CDL preferred.
• 5 years of fleet maintenance/repair experience or 2-year school plus 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Complete annual inspections (FAI/CVI) per regulations.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair engines, transmissions and electrical systems.
• Repair refrigeration units (Reefer) and lift-gates; weld as needed.
• Document work on orders and follow Sysco procedures.
• Mentor Fleet Technician I & II and assist when supervisors are unavailable.
