Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Circleville, OH is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Repair Technician to perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on our fleet to keep trucks safe and operational. You will review DVIRs, troubleshoot issues, and complete component replacements with attention to safety and quality standards.

Applicants should be skilled with repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics; experience with heavy trucks and diesel engines is preferred.

Qualifications

Experience using repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to troubleshoot and repair.
Experience repairing and maintaining heavy trucks and diesel engines; welding is a plus.
Knowledge of Lock/Tag Out procedures or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Perform repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles per schedules and DVIRs in a safe manner.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues and make necessary repairs.
Complete adjustments, repairs, and component replacements to vehicles and related systems.
Check, fill, and/or change fluids and filters.
Inspect and repair electrical, air, and brake systems.
Perform roadside repairs when qualified and ensure safety devices work.
Maintain records of work orders, time, and parts usage.
