Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling in Kentucky seeks a Vehicle Maintenance Repair Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair our fleet of heavy trucks. You’ll perform maintenance and component replacements per schedules and DVIRs, ensuring safety and compliance.

Must have experience with diesel engines, electrical and brake systems, read repair manuals, and communicate clearly with customers and team members. Flexible hours including nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience reading repair manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and repair.
• Experience repairing and performing maintenance on heavy trucks and diesel engines, incl. welding.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles per company schedules and DVIRs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Complete adjustments, repairs, and component replacements to vehicles and related systems.
• Check, fill, and/or change fluids and filters.
• Inspect and repair electrical, air, and brake systems.
