Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management in Manor, TX is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to service tractors and trailers. You will diagnose, repair, and document work on fleet equipment and ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA standards.

The role requires own tools, a valid license, and the ability to lift heavy weights; CDL is highly desired in some locations. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm with pay ranging from $34.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience
• Must possess own tools
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• CDL License A highly desired; mandatory in some locations
• Ability to frequently lift 50+ lbs, occasionally 100+ lbs

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts)
• Document repairs and preventative maintenance in the online system
• Diagnose mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic tools
• Perform complex inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Follow DOT, OSHA and safety standards and use PPE and tools correctly
• Occasional driving of Reyes fleet vehicles; DOT driver qualification file required
• Some travel may be required
• Other projects or duties as assigned
