Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management, located at the Reyes Beverage Group facility in Manor, TX, seeks a Diesel Mechanic to maintain our fleet of tractors and trailers. You will diagnose, rebuild and repair equipment and document repairs in the online Enterprise Asset Management system.

This full-time role offers a Mon–Fri 2:00pm–10:30pm shift with pay from $34.00 to $40.00 per hour depending on experience, plus extensive benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools.
• CDL preferred; mandatory in some locations.
• Valid license and acceptable MVR per DOT regulations to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds; up to 100+ pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts)
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable
• Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal polices and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices
• This position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role.
